I recently posted lots of part for sale on Reverb here: https://reverb.com/shop/drumandstage
When listing parts that were from Force 2000 drums, I noted in the description that the plating was inferior to Sonor's triple plating on the higher end Sonor Drums of the same era. The throw off was very obviously not the same quality of plating as the other throws I had. In that case, there is a black plastic, hollow tensioning knob whereas the others have a solid and beefy chromed knob. The 46mm tension rods appear to be the higher quality plating, and I am speaking from years of experience buying and selling Sonor stuff... yet I still made mention in the listing that they came from. Force 2000 which we known to have the cheaper plating. I have stated all this not to sell the parts in this post, and not to establish my credibility; but instead to give an example of how easy it is to mislead someone or let them assume something from lack of information.
There is a seller on Reverb with listing for tube lugs. The listing posted alongside this is a listing for Force 2001 badges. For those not in the know: German Sonor had two styles of tube lugs. The ones common to most of the HiLite and Hilite Exclusive series had actual tubes pressed into the end posts making for a solidly built (and heavy) part. The later ones (sic) and all of the ones from the Force 2000/3000/Maple were cast one piece parts and the tubes were hollow on the backs with structural crossmembers inside. When the Force X000 lines were sent to Asia for production, the first incarnation (not to be confused with "in tarnation' if you are a hillbilly) all the parts production would have presumably transferred as well; though there could have possibly been some Germans made parts stock left that went to Taiwan, I suppose.
Point is; in Germany there were two distinct tube lug styles in production and then at least one more added in the Taiwanese production. The Reverb listing doesn't make mention of the origin of the parts and the only "context clues" are the badges in the very next listing. To further add to the mystery; in the 3 pictures shown, NONE of them show the backs of the lugs.
So I say all of that to say this... There are several cases where an item with the same look has several build and or plating qualities. These are one example. Another are the lugs common to the Signature/Phonic and other lines. Similar ones were made in Asia for the Force and Force Custom series, made out of cheaper metal; cheap plating; metric threads where Sonor Germany at the time used 1/4" threads, and the height (measured from the shell's edge) was even shaved to adjust for the non-undersized shells of the Asian drums. But, 'in the wild' they look similar.
To wrap this up (it's 3AM and I woke up a while ago and am very tired and ready to go back to bed) buyer beware when it comes to buying parts.
