They were tearing up the tempo on this, but he didn't miss a lick. That thing he does at 10:13 just have a feel to it that is just more proof that he grooves like few others. Interestingly, he was playing Gretsch snare drums frequently through the late 70's and early 80's. I am going to do a deep dive at some point, but you can find pics of several different brand snares drums, and some of them almost look like he fished them out of the dumpster behind the pawn shop. Lots of his snare drum sound comes from that golf swing snare drum technique!
