Black Swamp Percussion Cable Snare Retrofit Units

I am intrigued and especially curious about the wraparound models. Anyone have any experience with these?

As per Black Swamp's info video - wraparound should only be used for snare drums with deep/pronounced snare beds, while the standard sets should be used on snare drums with shallow/minimal snare beds.

I have a set of the blue cables, but I haven't had the opportunity to put them on anything yet. My plan was to put them on a set of Dual Glide plates so I could swap them between my SQ2 and Prolite snares, but haven't gotten to it yet... :(
