Latest Sonor acquisition- a Sonor One of a Kind 14x8 Maple shell with Brown Oak outside and inside the shell, mint and seemingly unused since 2016. Thanks to Sergio Bellotti at 247 Drums in Boston for the find on this piece.
The latest acquisitions of pre owned treasures…these are two of the Sonor “One of a Kind” snare drums from a series that were released between 7 to 10 years ago roughly. The top one is a 15 ply German Beech 14x7 with Pacific Walnut Burl inside and outside of the shell. The bottom is an 18 ply Maple 14x6 with Poisonwood inside and outside of the shell. Thanks to Jess Birch at Good Hands Drum Shop in NYC and Mike Gallus at Mike’s Drum Shop in Villa Park, IL for the assistance with these beauties.
