I am going to get this ball rolling and PLEASE add to it! This will be used for an upcoming video...
At the Music City Drum Show, there were both models of the 600 Series Thrones on display with the Anniversary Kits. I was amazed at the feel and build quality of the thrones, as I had never seen anything other than the Force 1000 in person. I am not saying that I would buy one over the Spinal G that I have grown to love, BUT I bet they would sell more of them if the dealers actually displayed them. What's the purpose of designing, engineering and manufacturing of something if you aren't going to make reasonable efforts to sell them?
Another thing is the SQ2 line in general. Having worked at DCP (albeit briefly) I had plenty of opportunity to peruse the floor myself and also to watch the reactions of people who were looking at this gear for the first time. Sonor's high end gear doesn't resonate (clumsy pun intended) as well through media as it does when you are standing there looking at it and comparing it to other gear. Sonor would seemingly sell better and more if they had a better presence in more accessible dealerships.
