Gorgeous drums but I wish Erik @ CF would get off the 18" depth on their 22" bass drums. The sooner that trend goes by the wayside the happier many many drummers will be.

18" depths are such a power size; and in years past, I thought it equated to a big bass drum sound. I think 14/16 are about right. Personally, unless I am really slamming, I like 14" depth.

I know we can order our own, but I do not know why the stores aren't pre-ordering drum set up with more 20 inch bass drums? Most working drummers want something smaller these days in a bass drum . I feel these stores will get more impulse buys by Catering to the working Drummer set ups rather than the museum type set up with a 22 or 24 bass drum you're most likely gonna be playing in the basement or your studio.

On another note my bank account thanks them.
I can't tell you how many times I've seen a beautiful kit online that I wanted to buy because It was instantly available but had a 22 inch bass drum and that stopped me
