As many of you know, these are somewhat fragile and once something breaks (usually the threads) it's a real pain as there's no modern replacement. I thought the new 'Vintage' brackets might work as the drilling is very close, but no.
I know that I'm pretty careful and haven't had a lot of these fail but I'm sure there are plenty of broken ones out there.
I've tried quite a few different solutions with no luck, but if anyone knows something I don't and has found a good replacement.. please let me know. Thanks, JD

Phonic/Champion etc Spur and leg brackets
I'm looking for a pair as well. I have a 22" Phonic Plus MR that I want to cut down to 14" but I'm not gonna put in the time or money until I find a pair.
It seems that there were a couple of different styles of brackets during this era, both having different hole patterns, though either style looks like they would work if I drill one extra hole or use one less hole. If someone could enlighten me on the differences it would be appreciated.
