Limited Edition Drum Sticks? WHY?

Post by Jules »

drumsticks LE.jpg

I get why many products are offered in limited edition, but I am bewildered by offering a limited edition in a special length drumstick. What if that REALLY works for you and you just can't get anymore. Do they expect you to buy a lifetime supply, NOW?

Sticks and heads are consumable goods, unlike drums. I wouldn't want to "find my sound" with limited edition drumheads I couldn't get again, either.

Am I off-base?

Been seeing that ad pop up as well and gotta agree. This makes no sense to have limited edition consumables.

As someone who prefers 16.5" sticks, these MAY appeal to me, but I am not going to order a boatload just in case.

NOTE: I don't know what the length is, but my point is that I favor especially long sticks and these may be just right, but I'll never know.
