Comparison: How Many Snare Wires?

Post by Jules »

TBH: It never occurred to me to cut the opposite wire if one got compromised. I once had lots of Gretsch 42 strand wire sets. This would be a fun experiment with those. And you could do it all sorts of ways. From the outside in, inside out, skip a strand, and all sorts of things.

Thanks for coming!

These are 24 strand World Max German steel wires with 4 strands removed similar to Noble and Cooley wires. I've had good success with these on a variety of drums, including my D-506.
