I scored a MINT Prolite earlier this year, but need the 12" Prolite T.A.R. Mount. The original is slightly bent (causing choke when mounted) and after removing and attempting to straighten, it's still not right.

I have contacted KHS, to which told me 'we're a distributor and you must go through your dealer.' Have two separate requests with two separate dealers and still have heard nothing a month later.

Anyone know what else I can do?

Have you talked to SAM? Samiam/Sonor Sam? He specializes in parts.

ROFL right after I posted this, I called my dealer again and he told me, 'Even though I communicate with them daily, for some reason their response to your order ended up in my junk folder.' I believe him actually, have worked with him for some time. Order placed, 9 month standard wait as it's a custom order and will need to be built in Germany.

OK so this one goes back in gig bags and the SQ2 thin birch kit comes back out!!!

What is the depth of your ProLite 12” tom?

12x9 - just ordered it via my dealer however. Do you have one in stock?

I don’t have it in stock, but I’m glad you ordered one.

For those that may not know, Sam is typically the most likely dealer in the US to have parts like this.

That's the optimal depth for a 12" tom, IMHO...
