This is not intended to be a political post. This is a post of FACTS directly related to the cost of Chinese produced Sonor gear.

‘WE HAVE A DEAL’: President Trump agrees to cut China tariffs after a high-stakes South Korean summit with China’s President Xi.

Trump says China pledges to start buying U.S. soybeans and farm goods immediately — and to work “very hard” to stop fentanyl from reaching the U.S.

“Every year we’ll renegotiate the deal, but I think it’ll go on for a long time,” he adds.

If KHS is sitting on any releases that are held up by Tariffs, here is a good window of opportunity to slide them in. This WAS the case with the 150th AQ2's. They tried to hold out, but there didn't seem to be an opening to get them in at more normal import prices.

NOTICE: Conversation about how the current tariff cuts will, should or may impact the import of Sonor drums is welcome. No political embellishment, assumptions or opinions permitted. (We all want to get along, right?)

Sometimes I think the most pragmatic approach would be for me to go to on vacation to Europe and find what I want at a store and just buy it there, box it up and ship it back home to the states myself via DHL or FedEx (I would have done this for a Prolite kit if I could have a decade ago.) Screw KHS, and any other third party nonsense.
The only delay would be waiting for the shipment to clear Customs.

You would have to pay the import duties and taxes upon receipt. Any courier is required by law to collect these. Government b@stards always get their money.
