It's an interesting tool. I don't see it being practical for my uses. When I'm replacing heads, it's normally at home and I'm not in that much of a hurry for the little amount of time this would save. In my 40 years of playing, I have yet to break a batter head on a tom. IF that were to happen, I'd just play rest of the show without that tom instead of trying to quickly replace on a gig. I'm sure this will be useful for some players.
