The online hang for all things Sonor

I found it comical that the guy could only think of a single Sonor Artist and it wasn’t even one of the usual suspects.
I’ve always thought that Teardrops sounded like Slingerland Radio Kings even though the construction is different. Happy to see these guys also make that same conclusion and noted how the overall build quality is better then what other companies were producing at the time; in particular the high quality of the chrome plating.
They also touched on how these are great “near field” drums. They don’t overpower and come across as very pleasant and warm, even in a small space especially the 20” bass drum. This has been my experience as well.
