That looks dangerous! I recall back in the days I started playing circa 1977, that there were a few of those types of seats around. I think Ludwig made one? My first kit was a Slingerland single-headed kit (who needed bottom heads in the 70s?), but I don't recall that sort of throne being available from them. But I'm pretty sure that Ludwig made them then. They always looked "tenuous" to me, lol.
