What say ye regarding these? I love these early birds, personally. Obviously, the snare doesn't belong in this topic since it's under the heading of Bass Drums/Toms. I'd say the grain is a bit dried but pretty nice from what little can actually be seen in the bright photos. It's an early bass drum having the Phonic era internal muffler and claws on bass drum. Of course, the steel hoops from the first year of production, roughly (I don't actually know how long it was before Sonor started back with wood hoops, matching in many cases). It's possibly a hefty price but, then again, very special era drums (and including the whopper of a snare, if a bit on the battered side as it seems to be).
I find it interesting that the floor is the 15" and not the usual 14" that most think of in 'bop' kits. Of course, these drums are 'Power Bop' in my book. I have a Bubinga version of this set and it too has the 15" floor.

Seems pretty expensive to me. There are a number of listings from others in Poland, as well. All seemingly pricey.
And about the snare in this post; I am not going to be legalistic about things like that. It's fine that it's in here. If anything, I'll go back and and reword the category.

Kelly Crum sent one of these back to Sonor years ago and they sent it back like new. Do we have any idea what they did to it?
This one needs help.

I'm somewhat glad they aren't under priced. Helps keep the value of mine UP. About to list a 10, 13, 16, 24 Makassar in Exc. shape. My butt's too tired from sitting computer too long already so it'll have to wait.
Of course, I ask high prices only for bop sizes so the set I mention here will be affordable (to some). Not sure we see that many 24's and the demand for those may be less (than a 22) but there's bound to be interested parties out there. In fact, talked with at least one person at the Nashville show who complained that one mostly sees small bass drum in the Signature. At least, that's what he felt.
Y'all see the deal someone made on FB for a really nice rosewood Phonic with a 10 & 14 plus the D505 (?), 22" and another top tom for $2K! That's just too damn low (unless I'm the purchaser, ha). Sold in less than 7 hours.
