Have you bought one, or know someone who has? Are you considering getting one? If so, what's the hold up, and where would you likely buys yours?

They are beautiful kits and I'm sure they'll make any buyers really happy but the gold and black hardware are deal breakers for me. Out of my price range as well. Personally, I was hoping they'd recreate some designer kits.

I feel Sonor may have hit some home runs with the 150th concept. Can't say I'm in love with everything about them and I could nitpick a feature or two (and those two aren't just relegated to the 150th but rather the whole top end of the line. Mostly, not in love with the tom holder which seems fairly petty as it is a good enough holder but I'm partial to earlier designs and can't help it).

IF I WERE TO PURCHASE ANY NEW SONOR it won't be with a 22" bass drum but either a 20" or 18" AND in sizes that may be considered 'Yamaha' sizes so, instead of traditional or 'power' sizes I'd go in between. Have seen several SQ2 kits in the right sizes and I like the Tribal as well as Stratawood finishes. Regarding pricing, it's just a new world we're living in.
