1st Sonor kit for me. I have been playing over 4 decades and sadly this is the first Sonor kit that I have owned.

I'm in love!

Incredible fullness, attack and clarity of sound. It has a wide dynamic range, with a sound and feel that must be played to be understood. SQ2 medium maple snare.

That kit is gorgeous! We both agree that thin Scandinavian Birch toms are tough to beat. Just a glorious sound! I'm thinking of adding a 3rd rack tom but I can't decide between the 8x7 (enough tone?) or a 13x10 (grrrr classic rock!).

I’ve always ran an 8” tom on many different kits over the years. My 8” med birch SQ2 tom has a ton of tone, pop and resonance. Definitely the most out of any kit I’ve ever owned. Not surprised though, its a Sonor thing..
