This Impala signature set (not mine) Has been for sales for a good while now. 10x10 / 12x12 / 15x17 / 16x18, all original hang toms 22/18 and 14/8 snare, it is for sale with signature brown cases, but not with the hilite exclusive stand for offers. I think the impala paint looks great against the copper and think impala paint with copper hardwear would have made a great special edition set.

I wonder how many impala sets are out there post a pic if you have one.

I own a 13"/11 birch lite rack tom i picked up as an orphan, and with the same heads fitted i cant tell an sound difference between it and my hi-lites to be honest.

Such a classy finish! I just refinished my Frankenstein/orphans Delite/Designer/SQ2 kit in a Bumwrap that's pretty close to Impala lacquer. I searched online and found color code #8a75d.

I'll get a pic of the kit posted when I get some time.
