Would YOU like to be interviewed?

I am looking for people for interviews with a Sonor story. Plain and simple. We like to look at each other's pictures, hear each other's bands and music, why stop there?

Let me know if you are interested or have a recommendation.

I come back to this after the positive vibes and feedback of the Dave Sanderson interview. I am interested in ANYONE with a Sonor story to tell. It can be a 5 minute chat, or a 90 minute detailed conversation about ANYTHING Sonor. And regardless of who has or hasn't heard of you, it is going to get views. :)

Please carefully consider it!

How about Sonor artist Dave Goodman? I know he had Designers and Prolites, even a Signature kit. He got rid of them for the Vintage series.
Could be an interesting interview, I'm sure he has pictures of all his old kits.

I'd be interested to hear what Jack Dejohnette and Don Moye have to say after all these years. During the 1970s there was a whole new direction in jazz (prior to, for example, Wynton Marsalis) and so many great and innovative players were using Sonor. The ECM label recorded many of those folks.

Thanks for the suggestions. For the record, I attempt to make contact with everyone recommended on here. I have just send Don Moye a request through an affiliate, and just made another attempt to contact Mr. Dejohnette. Obvious people like Steve Smith and others are already on my radar, it's just a matter of getting their attention. They all get inundated with emails and all sorts of things, and then when I do make contact, many times they are too busy to commit.

Keep the suggestions coming, they are not in vain.
