First minute of live Styx performance with the SONOR SQ2

When I talked with Todd in November, it was obvious that going to Sonor was a major life decision, and one that was creating tremendous excitement for him. What I don't know, yet, and will be asking him when I see him soon, is that the moment leading up to this video was like. He had been playing his studio rig, so he knew what to expect, but waiting for the lights to come come up on this gorgeous and amazing sounding drum set and hearing it in the IEMs, and all that good stuff, I can't imagine what a moment that was.
When he was in Atlanta doing Masterclasses at Atlanta Drum Shop in November, he was using some of the store's Sonor and got quite choked up telling everyone to play the drums you love. I actually thought he was about to let the cat out of the bag, quite frankly. Anyone that assumes he was having issues with Pearl (a recent comment from someone on my interview with him), or thinks he is being paid or any motivation other than a pure and unwaivering love of the brand and product, is way off.
