When you’re chatting with other drummers and Sonor comes up, what do you usually mention?
Do you lean toward:
πŸ› History (150+ years, German roots)
πŸ§ͺ Engineering & Shell Design
πŸ₯ Sound & Feel
βš™οΈ Hardware quality
🎨 Finishes & craftsmanship
πŸ§‘β€πŸŽ€ Artists who play Sonor
πŸ”¬ Innovation
❀️ Or just how they feel behind the kit?
What’s the one thing that makes other drummers go
β€œOkay… now I get it.”

1) They're designed properly, not by marketing.
2) They're built properly and won't fall apart unlike many, many other options.
3) They stay in tune.
4) The craftsmanship, especially on the fancier German stuff is literally second to none.
5) They sound insane.
6) Quality, quality and more quality.
7) John Good's snake oil has never been anywhere near them.

I would agree heartily on these points, especially with the German made stuff. #'1-5 are specific examples of how they achieve #6.
