I'm a fan of Koide. I'd love a set of their cymbals. Interesting how the order in which things are done is quite different to convention. Lathe off the crust first, machine hammer, lathe again, then fine tune the final sound by ear and by hand. How much of that is liberal editing of different lines together for the video and how much is the way it's done I'm not sure. They certainly have their own sound that's for sure.
