I bet these are knock offs in Aluminum. Maybe they bought old molds, or used a Hella sample to build new molds. If these were used by Sonor, they would be made by one of KHS's companies.
I tried to order a set from them. Here's what they said: "We currently have nickel-plated, rose gold, and gold in stock. Unfortunately, silver is not available, so could we replace the silver with another color?" Video they sent:
Nothing like the Hella hoops.
And the plot thickens. I wonder if the ones in the photos are the first batch and they haven't finished making their way through production? Maybe the finished ones shown on Alibaba are bonafide Hella hoops that they simply used for photos???

You should reply and ask where the hella hoops in their ad are and why she sent a vid with some other hoop design.
I think it's just bait and switch...they may not even know what they're doing with drum hoops.
If you look at the pics, in the factory with the Asian men, those ARE the right style
They have posted a video to Instagram and still blatantly show off the Hella logo.
I bought a set… hopefully I get them to try them out.
