Availability. Having it now instead of sometime next summer. The sizes I wanted were immediately available, and I have a rehearsal Wednesday and an event next Sunday. To go with an SQ2, I would have to have bought something else in the interim, as well.

I agree. I recently had the Vintage Series in Vintage Silver Glitter, but couldn't find an 18 floor tom. Since I already had all my referred sizes in the SQ1, I kept it and sold the Vintage. I only did this now because a buyer for the SQ1's came along.
