Your right and I made one for Lites and silver badge phonics. The basic teardrop single tom mount fits the black label phonics and is plenty long enough.

And you’re absolutely correct that with a ball mount system there is no way you get that kind of positioning and I’m not fond of the rack in the snare basket. It the main reason I gig vintage Sonor gear.

Evolution of the drum set or just a case of capability that has been lost?
