Sonor AQ1 - Birch Shells

Unread post by Jules »

I personally owned a set of these in white, though I never played the snare drum. The toms were very musical and the bass drum was a cannon. I chose Piano White, but if I were going to do it again, it would hands down be the Caribbean Blue. I am sure that the Piano Black looks great, but for me considering the places I have played, a dark drum set just doesn't stand out, regardless of color, whether it is a woodgrain or what.

Personally, I would lean towards the white, as you can do more visually in stage with them with the lighting.

Sq2 - Med Beech, Rosewood finish - 10/12/14/16/18/22 + 6.5x14
Vintage - Vintage Red Oyster - 13/16/22 + 6.5x14
Phonic - Oak, 13/14/16/22
Performer - Wine Red, 12/13/16/22 + 6.5x14 (D456)
