Mine also have a red plastic cam which is flipable for 2 different actions that i dont see in the one in the video, i think they sued to come with both chain and strap, but maybe Sonor have dropped that too.
Its would be nice if Sonor did 150 of each in a gold finish instead of blue for the 150th.

I've owned all the high end pedals. Singles and doubles. Giant steps are noticeably the most unique feeling pedal. Really love the feel of them.
I wish I could still use them but couldn't take the off center hit anymore. It's too pronounced and got to me sound wise. Acceptable on a 24" bass drum but I stopped playing those a million years ago. 22's and 20's are what I have now and prefer 20's as long as they are at right depth for me.
Why don't they work for a 20" kick? If it's a beater length problem, can't you use a different beater? I've never played a Sonor pedal--do they not use a standard beater rod diameter?

I had a GS Double for a short period. Super smooth, quick, insanely adjustable, etc. I loved the docking station concept too.
The only thing I didn't like (and it was a deal-breaker for me) was the hinge design between the footboard and the heel plate. As a typically barefoot, heel-down player, the bottom of my foot kept getting pinched slightly in that gap due to the hinge design. Thankfully no actual injury from it, but very uncomfortable to play and forcing me to focus on keeping my foot further up the pedal, which was not comfortable and just became a distraction.
That said, it was an awesome pedal, and I would have considered completely switching over to the Giant Step pedals from my DW9000's if it weren't for that one issue.
