This is horrific. I used to watch All in the Family and have seen countless movies he directed or starred in. He was even in an episode of Andy Griffith.

Crazy people in the world, no doubt. I know they've arrested the son, but I haven't heard any sort of motive yet--but apparently the son has a long history of drug use/abuse, according to widespread reporting today. So who knows? Just a terrible tragedy.
