As much I'm preferring the "Shallow/Modern" depths due to playing response, there's some drums that (to me) just sound better in the deeper depths.

Sq2 - Med Beech, Rosewood finish - 10/12/14/16/18/22 + 6.5x14
Performer - Wine Red, 12/13/16/22 + 6.5x14 (D456)
Phonic - Oak, 13/14/16/22

Me too on the deeper depths...
I find playing home, I can make the shallow toms work. Bands, gigs...I need the deeper toms. I need the "presence".
