I've known Scott for 30 years now, although we've never met in person. He was also a member of the RMMP Usenet group that started in the mid 90s. Great dude, and I think he was the brainchild behind the Sonor Museum, if I'm not mistaken?

EDIT: Yup--just checked. He is the owner of that site. I can remember looking at many years ago...circa the mid 2000-2010 timeframe. Back then I orderd a Sonor Designer kit, but ended up not taking it and another RMMP guy bought it instead. As I recall we were moving from one practice to another, and it was terrible timing because we were trying to move our entire house to another state. So of course that's when an 8-10 month wait time order comes in. So another RMMP guy bought it for the same money instead, and he just paid the balance and sent me a check for my downpayment. So it worked out, but I never even saw the drums. But I talked to Scott online quite a number of times about which kit to order, and the specifics. He's quite the Sonor dude!
