I absolutely LOVE Ralf's playing! He's a borderline monster, IMHO. I love the videos he made on the Vintage series drums, with the Agean cymbals. The man can play the hell out of a set of drums, without a doubt. You should get an interview with him Jules!

Ask him about Agean cymbals if you get a chance! I was REALLY interested in maybe getting a set, but they just don't seem to be available in the US, so I ended up going with Meinl. Not that I think Agean is better than Meinl, or the big three for that matter. But the sounds and colors on the kit(s) he plays in some of those videos, was incredible!

I asked a question or two about it in the YouTube video(s) discussion area, but never really got a response. So I'd love to know what the deal is on those pies--are they planning to make them available here, in more than just their low-volume line? Maybe it's just the tariff thing right now, I don't know...
