(We need a) Comparison: HLD 590 (150th Versus Original)

Since the newer hardware lends itself to better resonance, at least in theory ;) it would be nice to get someone to do a side by side comparison of the two. Do you know who has both with the interest and capabilities of doing a good recording?

You need to speak to Aaron Edgar - he has 'Le Bronze James' which is essentially the same as the 150th 590 but with black nickel hardware made for him as an artist a few years earlier. He also has 10 and 12 lug HLD590's.

I know him! :)
I would like to do a comparison of the 10/12s for sure. I know that many or most felt like the 12 lug was choked with hardware.

As to the 150th vs. original; I can see how his more modern one would/should be equivalent, but the point would be comparing the latest with the (assumed) greatest, if you will. It would be, in part, to bolster positive views of current Sonor gear, while at the same time offering content exclusive to drumandstage.
