Sam (Sam I am Studios) has been a Sonor focused dealer for a couple of decades, now. Aside from carrying the full line of Sonor drums and hardware, Sam usually maintains good inventories of Sonor parts and memory locks, which are very hard to find.

I have done business with Sonor Sam quite a few times over the years. Parts and bits mainly. I was able to get two of the Sonor Jungle Tambourine "Jangle" snares from them. I love having the tambo snare sitting just off the hi hat as an "auxiliary" snare because they sound like a timbale when the snares are off and you some great accents when playing Afro-Cuban styles! I needed two of them because I have several kits and like to always have it there. Thanks again Sam for your great selection and service!

Can't say enough good things about Sam - He's become my 1st call for current Sonor stuff.

Bought my SQ2 kit, 2 Prolite snares, a bunch of stands, logo'd heads, and a number of smaller parts from him.

Great service, communication, and competitive pricing, then add in the fact that if you need something he doesn't have in his own inventory, he'll actively try and get it for you (amazing how many shops won't...).

I am waiting on a parts order from Sam. These are parts so obscure (though current) that they aren't even on the exploded view diagrams on the sonor.com site. But Sam had them on eBay. He comes through in ways most others don't even try!

Ditto on the previous Sam posts. Sam is my guy, whether parts or a kit. I got my SQ2 through him 8 years ago and he just gave me a great price on a 22, 10, 13, 16ft, and 6.5 deep ssnare Rosewood Vintage Series kit that's arriving later this week.

I've bought a few things off his ebay store and just ordered a new prolite brass snare directly. Does he have a physical store too or does he just operate online?
