Break in interviews and other goings on...

Post by Jules »

Tomorrow sees the release of the Kevin Hernandez interview. That is the last interview scheduled for the immediate future. The Lemar Carter interview remains to be on hold, and my emails to him may very well be going to SPAM.

I have an interview (Zoom meeting) planned for the week of the 15th, with a hopeful release date of the following Saturday. As always, I keep my cards close to my chest until those are at least in post-production. So, that leaves us with no scheduled interview for the 13th. I considered scrambling to put something together next week, but I will be busy most of the middle of next week getting in the new rig and prepping for an out of town rehearsal for next weekend's Homecoming event.

Lots of gear on Reverb for sale with the price dropping daily on most items. I have pulled the 24" Green stain Designer from the listings. As much as I would like to totally clean house, it may be good to have an ace in the hole in case of a dry spell with the finances.

I have a deal pending on the HiLite Exclusive gong drum that I hope to firm up on in short order. That will be a shot in the arm, for sure.

I am going to refinish a Mikkey Dee snare drum to flip and have a terribly applied veneer on a Sonic Plus snare drum that will be for sale, too.

That's about it at the moment!

I’ve owned 6 of em, now down to just one 6.5

Interesting enough, they came in 3 depths; 5, 6, and 6.5
