This is the better of two of these I acquired some time ago. I think I may get some Airplane Stripper and remove the powder coating and get it redone. I found a shop years ago that does really high quality work and had them powder coat some chrome Sonor parts.

After the Powder Coating, the surface will need to be properly ground or sanded to reveal the exposed raised areas, but that is a simple process.

If anyone has any of these to sell, let me know. I have no idea what the ROI will be, so I can't pay premium ricing on these, since there will be very substantial expense in getting them reworked and I won't know what the market will bear until the expenses have all been laid out and the market is or ain't bearing.

Acquiring new Sonor rig in 2026.
