I was thinking about this from another angle today, maybe more than will they go up in value, is the question more, will one ever be offered at a price that's less than the original RRP. When i see the OG HLD-590 up for sale they always seem to be at a price that the person does not really need to sell it but if someone want to give me top $ + ill let it go. Like most many price where the reverb seller thinks what they have is gold anf now 6 months later its 50% reduced and still above market value.

I think that the fact that they only made 100 of them has a huge impact on the value now and long term. They were pretty much sold out before available for delivery, and they could probably sell another 50 about as quickly if they hadn't made them a limited run. So the fact that market is still hungry for them NOW suggests to me, that they are probably going to prove to be great investments in years to come.
