This just dropped today. I don't know why only one dealer has it on Reverb. Let us know if you come up with more information.
Sweetwater has a better description and show an ETA of December, BUT stuff is usually available months before Sweetwater's estimates.

Interesting that they are 9ply 6mm Maple instead of Beech. But they look fantastic! Would love to get a snare on it‘s own.

Truth be told, I didn't bother reading the details. But they are very well written. It's interesting that Sweetwater is only getting 1 of the 15 hitting the US, and it will be more interesting to see how quickly that one sells. If this had been released a few years ago, I would probably snag it.

Yeah, but the price is pretty high for that configuration in my opinion. But on the other hand, the black hardware and the unique shells / bearing edges really make it unique. So maybe it‘s justified. Either way I‘d love to see one in person.

I got this today. So much for the inter webs knowing everything about you; cause they should know this old man is poor.
My favorite sizes and the modern Sonors top of the line finish imho. No fade that covers up that gorgeous grain; let ALPI make something that looks great under stain not a genuine veneer; just my opinion. I would have preferred this with the chrome hardware.
So does the current SQ2 configurator allow for a build like this with vintage series hardware?

No on the hardware, and like the other high end (German) 150th drums, the shells are not available on the configurator, either.

Craftsmen's Collection reads to me as though there will be others? It's not a collection unless there's more than one option surely... If it's only this product, surely you'd name it something different?
Also of the three German made 150th options so far, the most far away from what you can spec normally via any other route? Arguably more unique than the Signature and Lites?

Completely out of their minds with the price on this kit! They still cant sell all the other 150th kits released at namm.

[/qI think they are mirroring the 90's signature SE special edition kit that was maple over the standard signature beech or Birch
