SonorBartI have a Mikkey Dee snare drum with no use. I took the wrap off and have stained the outside black. It is not a professional finish, as there are some imperfections in the budget shell. The drum will look pretty cool from any distance and is going to sound great.
I don't have it reassembled yet. Matter of fact, I think I am going to go over it with Tung oil (the bearing edges are still masked off) and do the inside black as well. BUT, it may be worth more parted out. Here is a video just to hear whet this drum will sound like. If you think you may be interested, I'll take $400 plus actual shipping. Get with me quickly ad let me know if you want me to do something other than the tung oil and stains the interior.
All the parts are like new, and the shell is in mint condition, minus wrap, plus stain.
